Economic Recovery in Our Future?

by Riitail

According to the Federal Reserve report, consumers are showing signs of willingness to spend more by taking on more debt.  Consumer debt has increased by $20.4 billion last November. With consumer borrowing increasing, it just might mean a step toward economic recovery.

We will definitely spend more by taking on more debt! What woman can say NO to an increased credit card limit? 🙂

Seems like the economy is showing signs of recovery. Let’s hope this translates to better retail sales.

Are you guys afraid of how the Euro affects our economic outlook?

It has been said that the recession was even worse the the Great Depression in 1929. The US has slowly been recovering from this recession without being too dependent on the exports.

As Carl Riccadonna said, “If household consumption and business investment spending continue to pick up, as we project, then exports will play a less critical role over the next several quarters.”

But we still have to be wary of whats happening in Europe, because their recession in turn making a huge impact on China’s economy and that could greatly affect the US.

It is so hard to predict what the future holds. It seems like one day the economic outlook is positive and the next it is gloomy. I think that the key is to be able to quickly adjust for change by keeping low levels of inventory, and short term leases such that if you see the business environment turning sour, you can quickly make changes

There are people that like to think that they can be very adaptive, but having to move from location to location can be a bit discouraging don’t you think?

I agree. If you aren’t too fluid, play it safe.

Less worries. It is very essential to know the demand of our products in order to answer our customer needs and wants. Knowing the demand will help us to determine the trend for our products. Its a fact. Looking forward for a betterment of SMBs.

Also keep in mind that a product can have a temporary demand. Some products are only in demand when in season. Some products are only in demand WHILE it is a current trend.
